Marsham Mondays......

just to let you know that the Marsham Mondays, (not their official title, so what is their official title?) will be starting on Jan 21, and there will be one week off for half term on 18 Feb.......

Artists on the Green.....

just to let you all know that the Hempton Group are now officially called Artists on the Green, (AG for short?) and if you don't know the venue you won't know why, but it is of course because the Hall is on Hempton Green, just on the edge of Fakenham. 

Perhaps they might send me a photo as evidence of themselves at work, just to confirm that they are in fact busy and not skulking quietly in the garden centre cafe!

Portraits....

A friend of mine is running Portrait classes in Norwich, starting Thursday 17th Jan, 7-9 in the evenings. If you are interested let me know and I will pass on contact details.......

Dates

I think the dates the self organised groups are starting after Christmas are Tuesday at Hempton on 8th January, Monday at Marsham 21st January, and Wednesday at Marsham 30th January.

I had two thoughts, firstly do you want to accept new people,(or returnees) to your groups?

and secondly, it occurred to me that it would be a constructive idea to develop a routine of positively getting together at coffee time, ( perhaps not at the end of the session because at that time people would be getting ready to pack up and get home) and asking everyone to talk informally about what they are trying to do, discuss any problems evolving, upon which help could be offered by other group members. I think this would encourage people to keep a focus on what they are doing, which is going to be one of the difficulties as that focus is easily lost.......and time wasted.......
