I've been reading Toomai of the Elephants......Monday Challenge.

Now first just look at your paper, and imagine an elephant, conjure up the shape, wrinkles, long agile trunk, tiny glinting little eyes, chunky flat feet, with toenails. Fine and slender swishy tail with a little tuft of hair at the end.......though your elephant might be in profile, or a front view, or perhaps a portrait......

and now another scribble drawing......just a fine pen or biro, (no rubbing out pencil lines) project the image  of an elephant in your mind, and then onto the paper. Try to make it appear on your paper as you imagined it, don't take your pen off the page once you have started and think all those wrinkles and big baggy shapes, keep drawing and scribbling, scribbling and drawing, over and over till you have kept going for ten minutes....

and here is a picture of Crabbie's Ginger Wine, with an elephant on the label

Please send me your results to share......

HERE IS YOUR MONDAY MORNING CHALLENGE.......

Just ten minutes for this.....

put a cup, any cup with a twig in it in the corner of the windowsill. Project the image including the window sill, frame, cup and what is outside, in your minds eye, onto your paper. Spend ten minutes doing a quick pen (biro) drawing without taking your pen from the paper.

There is no right or wrong, this is just a starting point. Do more if you want, continue with paint.......

Please send me the results and I will put them up here....

if you are in communication with anyone else you think might enjoy this, just tell them about it. The more the merrier!

another challenge next Monday!

Good Luck!
