PORTRAIT WORK

Just a few pics here, as diagrams to show a way of starting a portrait, (or anything) My point being that you can sort out what you are doing without using lines, just using patches of colour or tone.

that way you have areas you can move in order to progress your painting, not finite lines which can hamper you. There were obviously more stages to this demo, but I hope that these show my point.

And what do you think about homework? Do you like having it as an excuse to do some of your own painting? Or not!
