I took these pics down to be reclaimed but had to take a photo because the swathe of colour looked so rich and gorgeous...










And these are from this week's work, close up views, using the idea of harmonious colour, and focal point.....

 and here are two of the above enlarged so you can see the full effect of simplifying the image. So this is the way to go to make a strong painting from simple objects, this work will continue for two or three weeks, we are looking for strong, finished paintings.
