Preparation for Summer Schools....

if you are coming to Sculthorpe Moor on the 12th July, (when there will be a short introductory talk at 10am), and the 13th, please don't forget to read my list of 'Helpful tips for outdoor working' (available here as a post)and put everything you might need together in a easy bag, and have a comfy chair to sit on.

Watercolour Day, please prepare your two colourways, just to save you time, and have a look at Shirley's work online to get in the mood. Bring any water colour equipment you have, including oil pastels if you have them. In fact anything you think might be useful.

and if you are coming to the Collage Day please harvest any paper of any sort you can lay your hands on plus scissors, knife, glue and anything you think might be useful including a nice firm support, good paper will be fine (to stick on to)

and though August seems a long way off don't forget to prepare for Natural Surroundings at Bayfield Hall on the 17th,18th and 19th August,
and of course let me know if you have any queries. My email address is on the blog.

these are probably the final pieces from the terms work.....

CHANGES....Term starting 19th September......

Some changes to classes for September,
the Monday and Wednesday afternoon classes have now finished, permanently.
So I will continue with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning classes in September. You are welcome to come to wherever suits you, and to catch up for missed lessons at any time by coming to a different venue.
This is to give me more time, shall we call it semi-retirement?

work from the last week of term......

Colour work...

these are just a few of a set of colour mixes ( by a group member) to assess mixing possibilities of all 36 colours in a water colour box. Each colour is mixed with each colour, resulting in about 1500 colour samples!
