Veg and Music.....

If you are interested in getting a regular supply of locally grown vegetables, as I do, from Eves Hill at Booton you could register your interest via the website, so that they will be ready to supply you in June when everything is really growing......

and if you like live folk music there is a concert at the Lion Inn, Thurne, NR29 3AP, at 8pm on Saturday 7 March. £5 per ticket from junethaine@yahoo.co.uk, £6 on the door. Performers will be The Doddie Bees, Kevin Green, Tony Hall, and Kelly Woods......it will be very entertaining.

BARGAINS.....

Mary tells me that at Mini Scrapbox if you only visit occasionally then you only have to pay £2, and then the cost of your items.....its always worth a visit as you never know what you might find.
And Jacksons, the catalogue company I use for art materials, just for this week water colours are being sold at a discount. For instance the St Petersburg set I like has £10 off, and is (I think)£52. Post would be free as the order is over £39.

Mini Scrapbox at Reepham, Wednesday and Thursday 2-6, and Saturday 10-2, have useful portfolios for sale. It's always worth a look for a huge variety of bargains. You need to pay £10 for a years membership before you can take advantage of the rich variety of items available.......
(I have bought plan chests, art materials, tiles, picture frames, wool, a mountain dulcimer, guitar, violin, snare drum, fabric, paper, easels, inflatable mattress, Christmas decorations, and many more things too numerous to mention.....)
